Finding the right sports academy for your child doesn't have to be complicated. Play A Sport helps parents search for academies, explore their details, compare available options, enrol their child, and complete the payment process — all through one platform.
Whether you are looking for a specific sport, a particular academy, or a training center near you, Play A Sport gives you multiple ways to find the right option.
Step 1: Search for a Sports Academy
Once you have registered and logged in to Play A Sport, you can start searching for sports academies.
There are several ways to find an academy.
Search by Academy or Sport
Use the Search functionality to directly search for:
- Academy Name
- Sport Name
For example, if you are looking for a particular academy, simply enter its name in the search bar.
If you are looking for a particular sport, such as Cricket, Football, Badminton, Tennis or Swimming, enter the sport name to discover relevant academies.
Step 2: Search Academy by Sport
You can also explore academies through the Sports section.
Select your preferred sport and Play A Sport will help you discover academies offering training for that sport.
This is particularly useful if you know which sport your child wants to learn, but haven't decided which academy to choose yet.

Step 3: Find Academies Near You
Looking for an academy close to your home or preferred location?
On the Play A Sport website, you can use the “Academies Near You” option to discover nearby sports academies.
This makes it easier for parents to find training options based on location and choose an academy that is convenient for their child.
Step 4: Compare Different Sports Academies
Once you have found multiple academies, don't rush to make a decision.
Open the academy details and explore the information available on each academy.
You can check details such as:
- Academy information
- Sports offered
- Location
- Available batches
- Training timings
- Facilities
- Coaches
- Ratings
- Photos and videos
- Other available academy information
You can open different academy profiles and compare them based on your requirements.
Choose What Works Best for Your Child
Every child and family has different requirements. Consider factors such as location, sport, training schedule, facilities, coaching and fees before selecting an academy.
Step 5: Create Your Child's Participant Profile
Found the academy you want?
Before enroling your child, you need to create a Participant Profile.
The participant is the child who will be enrolled in the sports academy.
During participant creation, you will need to provide the required details, including:
- Photo
- First Name
- Middle Name
- Last Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- School
- Mobile Number
- Disability information, if applicable
- Address
- Area
- State
- City
- Pin-code
Once all the required information is entered, create the participant profile.
Why Create a Participant Profile?
Creating a participant profile makes the enrolment process easier. Once the profile is created, you can use it when enroling your child in an academy.
Step 6: Select the Academy and Batch
Now you're ready to start the enrolment process.
First, select the academy where you want to enrol your child.
Then select the batch you want your child to join.
Check the available batch information, including the training day, timing and other relevant details, before proceeding.
Step 7: Select Your Child
After selecting the academy and batch, choose the Participant Profile of the child you want to enrol.
If you have created participant profiles for more than one child, make sure you select the correct participant.
Then click Continue.
Step 8: Enrolment Request is Sent to the Academy
Once you click Continue, your enrolment request will be sent to the selected academy.
At this stage, the academy will review the enrolment request and check whether a slot is available in the selected batch.
What Happens Next?
If a slot is available, the academy will accept the enrolment request.
You will then receive a notification and message informing you that your enrolment request has been accepted.
Step 9: Complete the Payment
After the academy accepts your enrolment request, you will need to complete the payment within the applicable time period to successfully enrol your child in the selected batch.
Review the payment amount and proceed with the available payment option.
Play A Sport uses a secure payment gateway to process payments.
Once the payment is successfully completed, your child's enrollment in the selected batch will be confirmed.
Step 10: Start Your Child's Sports Journey 🎉
Congratulations! Your child's enrolment is now successfully completed.
You can take your child to the selected academy according to the chosen training day and time.
Now it's time to get your child on the field, court, track or pool and start their sports journey.
